Fourth Annual Foster Youth Day - Miami-Dade FAWL and Lawyers for Children America invite you to a special event for Miami’s foster youth at Tropical Park on Earth Day. Featuring free food, a petting zoo, a bounce house, games, sports, information, and activities for children and teens! This event is free of charge and open to all Miami foster children, former foster youth, and adopted youth of all ages, as well as foster parents, caseworkers, guardians ad litem, mentors, lawyers, and all others in the child welfare system. Youth in foster care, group care, relative care, EFC, and PESS, and adults involved in the system are all welcome. Space is limited. This event is sponsored by the Miami-Dade Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Lawyers for Children America is funded by The Children’s Trust, Miami-Dade County, Miami Foundation and GLBT Community Projects Fund. The Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami Dade County.
